I grew up on the west side of Detroit, attended high school in a small private school in Dearborn, graduated and went to college. First at Madonna University for nursing, where I discovered that Education was where my calling was. I transferred to Central Michigan University where I graduated with my BS in Biology and Chemistry, in addition to a secondary teaching endorsement. I started my teaching career back at my Alma Mater where I taught for 3yrs, got married and started my family.

I stayed home for a year with my children and went back to work the following year teaching part-time in an adult and community education center. Adult Education was undergoing changes in funding so it became time to move on. I found my niche in my current district where I have grown into the educational professional I am today. I have had many teaching experiences, administrative experiences and have earned two post Bachelorial
Degrees. I am currently Teaching/ Mentoring in a fabulous Online Academy in Michigan. |
